Well I did it, I completed my first Me-Made-May. It’s a marathon of selfies, but this project did help me to identify which Me-Made items I enjoy wearing and which are just not practical. Many of my wardrobe holes became apparent by week 3.
Going forward I think I will concentrate on sewing outfits rather than pieces at random. I’d like to achieve complete looks rather than a top or skirt that I throw with whatever I can find in the closet. I’ve always loved sewing because it allows me to try new trends, but if uncontrolled this can result in a psychotic rather than modern ensemble.
I guess we’ll see next May whether this resolution has any validity. Happy June everyone.
